I had a decent stay at Carson Valley Motor Lodge, with clean and reasonably spacious rooms. However, the noisy air conditioner and thin walls made it hard to get a good night's sleep. If you are just looking for affordable accommodations without frills, it works, but I wouldn't recommend it for a relaxing getaway.
